Discovering the Canopy is an elite training program dedicated to equipping biologists from Latin America with the unique skills needed to climb the tallest trees in tropical rainforests. For many, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to access an unexplored world—the forest canopy.
In just one week of rigorous training, participants, under the guidance of world-class instructors, go from novice climbers to advanced canopy explorers. They return home equipped to document and conserve biodiversity in their native forests, ensuring that these ecosystems are protected for generations to come.

The forest canopy is home to a wealth of biodiversity, much of which remains undiscovered. However, the cost of training and the specialized skills required to climb the tallest trees put this critical work out of reach for many.
